Dr. Sukhmeet Singh, otherwise known as ‘Dr. Mickey,’ is the lead Physical Therapist at Plaza 12 Physical Therapy in Carteret, NJ. With a Bachelors in Science degree from Saint Peter’s University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Misericordia University, Dr. Mickey specializes in orthopedic outpatient cases. He also has experience in inpatient and subacute care, and enjoys working with post-surgical patients, assisting them in returning to the activities they enjoy.

As an athlete in high school and college, Dr. Mickey learned the importance of quality hands on care and the positive effects it has in the rehabilitation process. He loves physical therapy because he is able to see these positive effects in his patients’ functional improvements. Through success stories from patients, he is inspired when hearing of their goals and aspirations being met as a result of therapy.

Dr. Mickey truly enjoys treating patients with back, neck, hip, knee, ankle, and joint issues and loves educating his patients so they can continue to grow and develop their skills. His overall passion for helping people move better, feel better, and participate in life more fully is why he became a physical therapist.
